You picture yourself walking through your own kitchen garden with a basket full of food you grew. You're ready to transform an unused corner of your yard into a beautiful, bountiful space that reconnects you with where your food comes from.
Or maybe you've had a few failures already and you're looking for someone to guide you.
The enjoyment a kitchen garden brings is immeasurable, and you're in the right place to get started. I want to share what I've learned over the years and how to give a new garden the healthiest possible start.

A childhood memory that never let go
The very beginning of my love for gardening is etched in a memory from childhood — picking ripe, fresh strawberries from my grandfather's strawberry patch, eating them by the handful, my hands sticky and covered in juice.
Everywhere we lived, my father built a garden and tended it every season. Those early memories propelled me to grow my own, and to keep that kitchen garden tradition alive in my own family.
I've tended my family's kitchen garden here in sunny San Diego for nearly a decade. The joy I found in growing edibles — and in sharing that experience with others — is what led me to become a Gardenary Certified Consultant.
"As a Gardenary Certified Consultant, I now help busy, self-described 'brown thumb' gardeners skip the failures and enjoy successful harvests right from the start."
I'm honored to not only set you up for success, but to be there as your kitchen garden grows, blooms, and produces harvest after abundant harvest.
Don't stop growing.
The values behind every garden we build
Organic, always
No chemical fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, or fungicides — ever. Every amendment we use is OMRI-certified.
Beautiful by design
A kitchen garden should be one of the most striking parts of your landscape — not something tucked out of sight.
Built for your real life
Every design accounts for how much time you actually want to spend in the garden.
Knowledge you keep
We don't just install a garden — we teach you to run it, so the confidence stays long after we've left.
You deserve a garden you love.
We know what it's like to have both fails and successes in the garden — it's taken years of seasons to refine our method. Let's put it to work in your yard.
